The Normality Is Abnormality

The kids in the playground,
Your colleagues and boss at work,
Sometimes even your mates
All put you dawn for doing something
Something they consider to be wrong and abnormal.

It doesn't matter what you've done
Whether its wearing unusual clothes,
The terms and language you use,
something you do that only you find funny,
Or writing poetry in the middle of town.

Some people worry about keeping up their cool
So they conform to the herd
In order to look, this so-called “normal”
And once they receive this status
They put down those like their former selves.

But there is a saying those people forget:
“Everybody's different”
Which proves the normality is abnormality
So it is the herd and their “normal” ways
That are abnormal and different
Because they are all the same.
